Admissions Procedure...
Students interested in enrolling in our school should speak to, or email, our Admissions Representative at the school nearest them. Our Admissions Representative will then schedule a time for an interview and for a tour of the institution. The Admissions Offices are open on Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. Please leave a voicemail/message with your contact information if calling outside of these times. An Admissions Representative will return your call upon receipt of the message.
We encourage prospective students to bring their parents, spouse, or friends with them to the interviews. Not only does this show support for the prospective student's interests, but it also allows questions from a different perspective to be answered regarding education and career opportunities.
Prospective students must have either a standard High School Diploma or G.E.D. to enroll in the cosmetology or instructor training program. Any student who applies may be required to take an aptitude test. This aptitude test informs the school if you have the characteristics and the propensity of becoming a successful professional in the beauty industry.
A $50.00 (non-refundable) application fee must be paid prior to completing the school's application for acceptance. Once paid, the prospective student will meet with our Financial Aid Administrator to discuss a financial plan. At this time, information about financial aid as well as student loans will be discussed. A $100.00 registration fee, that will be refunded if not accepted, must be paid before being accepted to the 10-Day Shear Success Program.
